North Harbour – Carpool Now
The North Harbour Business District is one of the fastest growing commercial areas in Auckland. However, along with growth comes increasing congestion and pressure on parking spaces. This together with high fuel prices, makes carpooling an increasingly attractive alternative for employees and employers alike.
The North Harbour Business Association and the Auckland Transport launched Carpool Now in November 2010 to help employees in the area maximise their travel options.
This simple and flexible service provides the means for some 13,000 employees across 1,300 businesses to come together and carpool to work.
